Five Tips to Help Make Your Pregnancy Wonderful
Start your morning with a small ritual. For me, this is waking up with the sun, downing a small glass of water, and having an oat milk coffee with my husband.
Put your health first: a daily prenatal vitamin is absolutely enough. I have been loving taking magnesium as well before bed, and relied on B-6 my first trimester to help with nausea. Knowing you are ensuring that you and babe have the nutrients you need allows for so much peace of mind, and it’s an easy thing to add to your daily routine
Get outside. Seriously, even if the couch is your favorite place in the world. Even if you have to bundle up. The fresh air and change of scene is crucial for mental well-being, and taking a walk absolutely counts as exercise.
Speaking of exercise… move that body! I have been loving quick Pilates and yoga workouts at home to make this a daily habit. Remember that this is not a time to work yourself to death- find movement you love and that feels good. I know that my mood lifts after some good stretching and a little time to myself.
Nourish! Now is the time to indulge in good for you foods. Focus on adding rather than avoiding, and make sure you are incorporating calcium, iron, protein, fruits and veggies.
